Samuel Eugene Denard '74 earned a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Course II) from MIT in 1974 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1975.

He is currently a software engineer who specializes in cost-effective, high-quality solutions for software development problems; data translation and application integration; embedded systems; application security analysis; and database design. Denard is a member of the MIT Legislative Advocacy Network (1988-2021) and of the MIT Educational Council (2013-).
